Sweet Yams, located on the East Side of SA in (East Point). Our mission is to bring delicious, organic, healthy food and make it affordable and accessible to everyone. We're on a mission to heal the world through food; nurturing your mind, body, and soul with Organic local & Organic nationwide ingredients. We offer an all organic juice program, by focusing on consumption of nutrients by way of organic juices. Sweet Yams also provides the community with an organic food program. Fresh prepared meals that you choose off the menu, packaged and ready for you to warm and eat at your convenience. We keep it simple, fresh and full of love!

Food was amazing, we had the chili love shrimp and chicken. Salmon. Mac and cheese was amazing and then we indulged in the sweet potato cup cakes. Favors were well balanced and not over powering. I would definitely come back and recommended to everyone. Keep in mind there is No in siding seating, but there are fans and shade, so it is not bad.

Wonderful people, Shannon and Chef Gus. Made us feel at home. I also appreciate their wonderful, fresh, flavorful food, focusing on organic, gluten free, clean ingredients. Will definitely come back often! Also the cupcakes were AMAZING.

Decided to walk here from downtown hotel on riverwalk. I was so glad I did. Ordered loaded beans and rice with extra grilled veggies. Food was very fresh and made to order. Great outdoor seating with soft jazz on the radio in background. I will definitely be back next time in town.

Cute spot with a shaded outdoor seating area. The food is fresh, organic, and made to order. There are gluten free & vegan options available. Everything was delicious, & the spicy chicken & vegetables was really spicy 🥵, which I like. They asked me if I like spicy before they made it, so they can adjust the heat level. I highly recommend a stop if you are in San Antonio.

Casual for sure but delicious and healthy in a way I haven't found during many, many visits to San Antonio. I ate here three days in a row when I visited. Just close enough to JBSA to go for lunch. So so friendly!
